The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as other models do to map your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpet with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used, but we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to keep track of the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is that it lacks a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable price to pay if you want to get one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than the high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or watch television without getting distracted. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and moves forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical garbage into the bin hidden from view and cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something is in need of attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors in the first go. It can even clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend cleaning them off with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of check here the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, so you can manage it even when not home. It also comes with more mopping modes and a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of simply following a predetermined route.

The Omni X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with a variety of convenience features that you aren't likely to find on robots of this price. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are useful however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury, which might make it slightly more expensive than what some homeowners require.

Designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish accented by mirror-plated silver elements.
